The noise floor comes back up to the top and stays there, hot and full, no gap to drop into. Red is the room's own heat, the level that won't come down. You can hear blue and yellow still in it, but they can't get out from under the warmth. Not a signal, not silence, just the whole field held at a high, even burn.
