[Yin-Yang With Teeth]

 The black dot is the moon. The white dot is the sun. That’s the whole yin-yang, but no one’s meditating here. Mountains on the left look like they belong in an old scroll painting, except someone went over them with the thickest line they could find. A cross sits between it all because I never chose a side and I don’t plan to. Down below, something like a web or a net stretches across the ground. Could be a trap. Could be the thing holding everything together. I honestly don’t know which. 2Y was never about balance in the pretty sense. It’s two things that should cancel each other out, but don’t. Not yet.

 검은 점이 달이다. 하얀 점이 태양이다. 그게 음양 전부인데, 여기서 명상하는 사람은 없다. 왼쪽 산은 옛날 두루마리 그림에 있을 법한데, 누군가 찾을 수 있는 가장 굵은 선으로 다시 덧그렸다. 십자가가 그 사이에 있는 건, 한쪽을 고른 적도 없고 고를 생각도 없어서다. 아래쪽에는 거미줄인지 그물인지 모를 것이 바닥을 가로지른다. 덫일 수도 있고, 전부를 붙들고 있는 것일 수도 있다. 솔직히 나도 모르겠다. 2Y는 예쁜 의미의 균형이 아니었다. 서로를 상쇄해야 할 두 가지가 상쇄되지 않는 것이다. 아직은.
