[Green Animus: Three Ways to Be the Same Problem]

 It’s the same face three times. Purple hair, big eyes, fangs, earring. You’d think repeating it would make it make more sense, but it doesn’t. The third one’s upside down and somehow that version feels the most honest. Green Animus isn’t a character I designed. It’s a face that kept showing up until I gave it a name. Three of them doesn’t mean I understand it three times better. It just means the problem is consistent.

 같은 얼굴이 세 번이다. 보라색 머리, 큰 눈, 송곳니, 귀걸이. 반복하면 이해가 될 줄 알았는데 안 된다. 세 번째는 뒤집혀 있고, 그게 오히려 제일 솔직해 보인다. 그린 아니무스는 내가 디자인한 캐릭터가 아니다. 이름을 붙여줄 때까지 계속 나타난 얼굴이다. 세 번 그렸다고 세 배로 이해한 건 아니다. 문제가 일관적이라는 뜻일 뿐이다.
